![]() ![]() If this sounded interesting to you, we are very close to release a combat demo, where you can try it out! Sadly, in the demo you will have a pre build team, but you can check out the combat system itself. Only then you can use those skills with your resistance members.Īnd the team size will be around 6-8 people, so it's very similar when you create a solo build for yourself and 7 other hero in Guild Wars. ![]() The plan is, again just like in Guild Wars, that earning skills is part of the reward structure, so you will need to work for better skills. So imagine in Guild Wars terms, "only" 1 class with a lot of attributes. The only difference will be that as of planned so far, that there will be no classes. Slaves of Magic is an XCOM like fantasy turn based tactic game, where for every character you will be able to set up 8 skills. I grew up playing it, and I too wondered why nobody ever tried replicating it in other context. Throughout the game Guild Wars 2 you have to level up and battle against other NPC's and players while progressing your skill and knowledge of the game, this is typically a standard layout for MMO games. I hope a bit of self-promotion is okay if it fits the topic, as I'm the developer of Slaves of Magic, and I took heavy inspiration from Guild Wars 1 skill system. Similar to World of Warcraft it is set in an old style world with some modern aspects to it. ![]()
